This client came to us as they needed fitted furniture in Hampshire. They wanted to create a custom home office having made the move to home working full-time. The past few years have seen a real shift towards working from home. This is why it is so important to ensure that you have a home office that is perfect for you. What did we do?

The project began with one of our custom furniture experts conducting a home design visit. Here they were able to piece together a custom furniture design. We established the client’s storage needs, work equipment, and design preferences. Our designers ensure that there is clear communication and aim to deliver beyond the customer’s expectations.

Upon confirming the design and measurements, we were then able to manufacture the parts and install the fitted home office furniture.  Storage was important for the client, so we made sure to design the home office to facilitate this. The curved custom desk creates a smooth shape around the room to not waste any precious space. We then added in a floating shelf for the customer’s computer monitor, with space for the keyboard and laptop below. The design of the custom desk is perfect for the client’s needs and leaves plenty of room to avoid clutter. We executed the client brief to perfection as the designer opted for a fitted filing system within the drawers. This bespoke shelving solution ensures the client has the space to organise their important documents. We fitted our custom bookcase in the large end cupboard with adjustable shelves. This gave the client the ability to change the height of the shelves to suit all their books and folders. With additional overhead-fitted cupboards and custom desk drawers, there is ample storage available. The client opted for a matte ivory finish with a natural white Halifax oak top and chrome handles. The light colours enhanced the space and created a sophisticated, classic aesthetic. The client was beyond satisfied with the results and can’t wait to put their fitted home office furniture to use.
