Built In Wardrobes And Bedroom Furniture Case Study

Our customer wanted a relaxing yet functional bedroom with plenty of storage space.

When this customer came to us, she had been spending the past few years renovating her home. She had prioritised other rooms of the house but was ready to renovate her relaxing spaces and give herself a beautiful bedroom. Bespoke bedroom furniture presents endless options, so she wasn’t sure what she wanted. The one thing she did know was she wanted to make the best of the space, which had lots of unique angles and corners. This space needed to be a calm place to go to after busy days, so the built-in wardrobes needed to be functional but not imposing. After spending a long time enhancing her home, it was important to us that we could offer our customer the best storage solution and ensure her style is reflected in the room.

Fitted Bedroom Wardrobes

Our fitted bedroom furniture made in Dorset offers a high-quality solution to storage problems in awkward-shaped rooms. This bedroom had one corner where a wardrobe had been previously fitted but didn’t provide effective storage. During a design consultation, we discussed with our customer what she needed from her bespoke bedroom furniture. We decided that built-in wardrobes and an accompanying dressing table offered the perfect solution. This allowed us to utilise the angled room and maximise the storage space. These fitted bedroom wardrobes needed to hold a variety of clothes, so we installed a combination of hanging rails and shelves to suit different needs.

To add different dimensions to the space, we added a custom design fitted dressing table with a bespoke stool. This provided a lovely space to sit and get ready as well as bouncing light around the room with a large mirror. This dressing table included several drawers to create extra storage and ensure the bespoke bedroom furniture was useful for the customer’s needs.

Bespoke Bedroom Furniture

Not only did we create fitted bedroom wardrobes but we pulled the whole room together by spreading storage options across the room. We installed some fitted bedside tables that complimented the built-in wardrobes on the opposite wall. These had three drawers, giving further storage options if needed. It was important to us that the furniture looked its best for many years to come. By installing a glass top on the bedside tables, we protected the wood finish and made it easy to clean if needed. To ensure that we created a cohesive space, we chose a Matt Dakar finish on all the bespoke bedroom furniture. This complimented the soft colours of the room, creating a warm and timeless look. We also used an on-trend shaker style on the cupboard doors and drawer fronts, this enhanced the room and ensured that the bedroom was in keeping with the rest of the home.
