A display cabinet is a great way to show off precious items and the stairs are often the focal point of the entrance of a home. Here, we transformed the stairs with a shiny dark mahogany and clear display cabinet with purple lighting to illuminate and showcase the items.

As you can see from the before image, the space under the stairs was useless. We fitted bespoke storage including an open display cabinet and drawers to maximise the space. Under stairs storage is perfect for keeping coats, shoes and bags out of sight and the sleek design enhances the hallway.

In this case, the stairs were positioned as a focal part of the living room and in order to maximise space, a TV cabinet was built into the stairs as well as drawers and fitted under stairs shelves. The material seamlessly blends with the original staircase and eradicated the need for a TV stand or entertainment storage that would bulk up the room.
