The Problem

Sometimes larger rooms can seem a bit daunting when it comes to fitted bedroom furniture. It can be difficult to know exactly what to fill your space with to avoid echoes and a cold, unwelcoming feel. That’s where our experienced bespoke furniture makers and designers come in.

These customers were completing a bedroom renovation and, with long walls and a lot of empty space, were feeling uninspired. We suggested new fitted bedroom wardrobes with over-bed storage to match to make the most of this expanse of space.

The Solution

Our designer worked with these customers to create the perfect solution. Sliding doors are always a great option, so the corners of the room were fitted with sliding fitted wardrobes. Being made to measure, and with an almost limitless choice of styles and finishes, our sliding wardrobe doors in Southampton are a great option for any bedroom. From coloured glass to mirrors, gloss, and acrylic to sculptured panels you can create a unique finish to add a personal touch to your home. Tinted mirrors were chosen for the doors, with driftwood panels and surrounds. Driftwood is a timeless finish, and one of our most popular for fitted bedroom furniture and living rooms. We also designed the perfect internal storage for them as well, with a mixture of drawers, hanging and shelving.

Our bespoke furniture makers designed two-drawer bedsides for extra storage, and corner shelves for our customer to display photos and trinkets. Overhead storage is a great way to add extra storage to any room, no matter the size of it and be designed to any size.

The final finishing touch was the bespoke dressing table, with plenty of storage drawers and the kneehole space made to a bespoke height to suit our customers’ needs.
